Living Hope exists to help people devote themselves to Jesus and make followers of Him, in Sarasota and around the world.

We are on a mission to reach our neighbors, coworkers, city, and the world with the good news of Jesus Christ. Through our words and actions, we desire to help people come to Jesus, grow in Him, and multiply healthy disciples, groups, and churches.

Why Living Hope?

A church planted for Sarasota.

God began preparing the way for Living Hope through a desire to see more people encounter the hope of Jesus in the Sarasota community.

In 2021, God led Josh and Lacey Komis to begin planting a church in the North Sarasota area. What started as Bible study and prayer became a growing church family launched in September 2022.

Today, Living Hope is committed to following Christ, displaying grace in community, and passionately sharing Christ with others.

Living Hope Church is an autonomous church but not an isolated church. We partner with other like-minded churches in our mission of making disciples of all nations through the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
